Custom Furniture in Kenya — Made to Order by Kenyan Makers
Almost everything on Kamara can be made to order. Our verified Kenyan makers build bespoke furniture to your exact size, material and design — start from a piece you like and adapt it, or commission something entirely your own. You work through Kamara, and the maker builds it by hand.
How custom orders work
- Browse a piece you like, or describe what you have in mind.
- Send a custom request — choose the size, material, finish and any changes.
- The maker confirms the design, price and production time with you before work begins.
- Your piece is handcrafted to spec and delivered, with delivery arranged by Kamara.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I customise the size and material?
- Yes. Most Kamara makers will adjust dimensions, change the material or finish, and modify a design. Send a custom request with what you need and the maker confirms what's possible.
- How long does custom furniture take?
- Production time depends on the piece and the maker, so it is confirmed with you before the order is finalised rather than fixed to a single timeline.
- How much does custom furniture cost?
- Custom pricing depends on size, materials and complexity. The maker confirms the price with you before production begins — there are no hidden charges added afterward.
- How do I start a custom order?
- Use the Request Customisation option on any product, or send a custom request describing your project. Kamara coordinates the rest with a verified maker.
