The Zamira TV Stand is a media console handcrafted in Kenya from board and marble. It is built low and long, so a screen sits at comfortable eye level while the room stays open above it. The making shows in the details: crisp gold-toned banding traced along each tier, and a marble surface chosen for the movement of its veining. The console pairs a board carcass with a marble top marked by soft, drifting grey and amber veins over a pale ground. A single central drawer with a slim horizontal pull sits between two open compartments, and the whole piece rests on rounded feet that lift it just clear of the floor. Two stacked tiers give the form its balanced, grounded proportion. The Zamira suits a living room or media area, positioned beneath a wall-mounted screen or a large framed work. The drawer keeps remotes and cables out of sight, while the open shelves hold a player, speakers or a run of books. Its pale surface reads well in soft daylight and sits comfortably alongside woven chairs, linen seating and terracotta. Buying this table through Kamara connects you to Kenya's furniture-making trade, where marble, board and metalwork are brought together by hand in small workshops. Each console reflects the judgement of the maker who assembled it, from the run of the veining to the placement of the banding. It is a considered piece made to be used daily.
