The Amboseli Sofa is a three-seater sofa handcrafted in Kenya. It is built around a full-length bench seat and a matching back, both worked in vertical channelled upholstery that runs the width of the frame. The lines are calm and the proportions generous, giving the piece a settled, unhurried presence. The sofa wears a soft, pale grey upholstery with a lightly textured surface. Wide, gently rounded arms flow into a low, even backrest, and the whole body rests on short, tapered light timber feet. The channelled stitching across the seat and back adds quiet rhythm without breaking the clean silhouette. This sofa suits an open living room, a reading corner or a family space where people gather in the evenings. It sits comfortably against a plain wall and pairs easily with a timber coffee table and a woven floor rug, as shown here. The neutral tone lets you shift the mood with cushions, from deep navy to warm rust, without changing the sofa itself. Kamara works with independent makers across Kenya, where furniture is assembled by hand rather than pressed out on a line. Buying the Amboseli means choosing a piece shaped by a real workshop, with the small variations that come from handwork. It is a considered addition to a home, made by people who build each frame one at a time.
