The Mwangaza Dining Chair is a metal dining chair handcrafted in Kenya. Its frame is bent into a slim, continuous silhouette, with an arched crest that curves gently across the shoulders. The proportions are deliberately restrained, so a set of them reads as a quiet rhythm around a table rather than a row of heavy seats. The chair is built from metal, finished in a matte black that absorbs light instead of reflecting it. A red upholstered panel sits inside the back frame, and a matching red seat pad is squared off at the corners with softly rounded edges. Below the seat, slender stretchers link the legs and dip into a shallow curve at the front, echoing the arch at the top. The surfaces are smooth and even, with no visible fastenings interrupting the line. This is a chair for a dining room in daily use.
