The Nendera Dining Set is a marble and metal dining set handcrafted in Kenya. It brings together a round table and four matching chairs, made as a single considered group rather than assembled from unrelated parts. The proportions are compact and upright, the kind of restraint that comes from working metal by hand and knowing when to stop. The tabletop is marble, veined in soft cream and grey with drifts of warm ochre running through it, and no two slabs read the same way. It rests on a slender metal column that splays into four legs near the floor. The chairs repeat that vocabulary: thin tubular metal in a matte black finish, a squared ladder back, and a round upholstered seat in a bright red that carries the whole dining set. This is a dining set sized for a kitchen corner, a small dining room, a covered terrace or a balcony where four people eat together without ceremony. It sits comfortably over a woven rug and under a low pendant. The chairs tuck close to the table between meals, which matters in a room that has to do more than one job.
