The 5by6 Slatted Bed Frame Double Bed is a metal bed frame handcrafted in Kenya. The headboard lifts into a gentle peak, while the footboard keeps a lower, gridded profile. The rhythm of the slats does most of the decorative work, so nothing else needs to shout. The frame is metal, finished in a deep matte tone that reads almost black in shadow and softens under direct light. Corner posts in a warm reddish-brown timber anchor each end, their grain visible along the faces, with exposed fixings left plain at the joins rather than hidden.
