The Bahari Coffee Table is a marble coffee table handcrafted in Kenya. It was drawn as a single low rectangle, then broken into parts a maker can shape by hand: a stone top, a ribbed cabinet body and slender bracketed feet. The proportions stay deliberately calm, so the veining in the stone does the talking. The top is marble, pale and lightly figured with grey and soft ochre veins that drift diagonally across the surface. A thin golden band runs the full perimeter of the top and reappears on the drawer pulls and the decorative corner brackets at each foot. Below it, the cabinet is finished in a chalky off-white with close vertical fluting, repeated across two deep drawers and the open central shelf between them. This is a coffee table built for a sitting room that is actually used. The drawers take remotes, coasters, pens and the small clutter that gathers around a sofa, while the open bay holds stacked books, folded throws or a tray. Set it on a textured rug in front of an upholstered sofa, where daylight can catch the stone and the metal trim at once.
