The Sagana Media Sideboard is a low media sideboard handcrafted in Kenya from board. It was built as a single long horizontal volume, so the drawers, shelves and outer case all read as one continuous line rather than a stack of parts. The maker kept the detailing quiet: flat fronts, square corners, and slim brass-toned bar pulls set low on each drawer. The piece is made of board with a deep reddish-brown surface that catches light along the top and softens into shadow inside the open bays. Three drawers sit centrally in a row, flanked and topped by open compartments that run the full width of the case. The top is unbroken and level, the plinth sits close to the floor, and the edges are crisp with no applied moulding. This sideboard suits a living room wall beneath a mounted screen, where the open bays hold books, boxes and a trailing plant while the drawers absorb remotes and cables. It also works in a hallway or dining room as a serving and storage run. Place a vase and a low bowl on the top and the long surface still reads as calm. Kenyan furniture making moves between workshop and home, and pieces like this are drawn, cut and assembled by hand in small numbers. Buying through Kamara connects you directly to that workshop tradition, with the maker's decisions about proportion and detail left visible rather than smoothed away by a factory line.
