The Ngomeni Outdoor Seating Set is an outdoor seating set handcrafted in Kenya from metal and thread. Two armchairs and a small round table share one visual language: a slim dark frame with cord wound across it in close, even runs. The winding is done by hand, so the spacing shifts slightly from chair to chair. That is the signature of work made one piece at a time rather than pressed out of a mould. Each chair is built on a metal frame with a curved, low-set back and open arms that continue the same line without a break. Thread is wrapped in vertical bands across the back and arms, leaving narrow gaps that let light and air through. The table repeats the idea in a splayed, ribbed column beneath a round top. Cushions in a saturated red sit on the seat and against the back, and their softness reads clearly against the taut dark cord.
